50 things because I don't want to write about Le Pen

Laura did this awhile back and I am all about the procrastination so here we go:

1. I have been in France for 8.5 months now and I have to say that I am getting excited to come home.
2. I was born in Minnesota but moved 3 weeks after I was born.
3. I have big feet. I was told in a French shoe store, "we don't make them that big."
4. I have one older brother who is currently living in Germany.
5. I hate Sciences-Po but enjoy the fact that cool people come to speak there.
6. My fingernails don't grow normally. They are kinda wavy and thusly my fingernail clippings fascinate me.
7. I recently starting running again.
8. My favorite cartoon when I was little was Winnie the Pooh.
9. Winnie the Pooh was on at the same time as Ghostbusters so every Saturday morning there was a big fight between my brother and myself over what show to watch.
10. I really miss Mexican food. A lot.
11. I went to the preschool that fed the elementary school that fed the middle school that fed the high school.
12. I was really glad to leave home to go to college.
13. My mother died when I was 12.
14. Living in Paris is something I have wanted to do since the 10th grade.
15. I still smile every time I see the Eiffel Tower even if it is just the very top.
16. Said smile is slightly bigger if I see it twinkling at night.
17. Graduating in a year scares the crap out of me.
18. I want to go to London for grad school. Woot European studies!
19. I want to speak Spanish well.
20. I highly doubt 19 ever happening.
21. I love my family very much I just cannot live with them.
22. My favorite book is "Last of the Really Great Whangdoodles."
23. I was named after "Westside Story." It was my mom's favorite movie.
24. Everyone sings my name. There is quite the selection of Maria songs to choose from.
25. I enjoy the European Union way more than any American, or European for that matter, should.
26. I don't know what I want to do with my life but I would like it to deal with the EU in some capacity and speaking French from time to time would be cool.
27. Writing in French is the most difficult for me.
28. One time I was on a PAT bus going downtown and a random woman complimented my feet.
28. I have been to Romania and it was really awesome.
29. I prefer to have a few close friends as opposed to a lot of acquaintances.
30. I made the conscious decision to distance myself from MD for a number of reason most of which people from MD won't understand.
31. I would like to go to Russia.
32. I have never been to Canada.
33. I have never seen an Indiana Jones movie. Sorry Laura.
34. I have a bizarre sense of humor that very few people understand.
35. I am a livejournal stalker.
36. I have been trying to read this Balzac book since February but I just can't make myself do it.
37. My roommate is awesome and gives good stalking advice.
38. Chris and I stalked Jarvis Cocker when Chris was visiting.
39. I have a few select cheezy songs that I listen to that make me happy.
40. I am extremely judgmental and tend to dislike a lot of people upon first meeting.
41. It takes a lot for me to change my first negative opinion of someone.
42. I am undecided about having kids.
43. I am anxious/nervous about returning to Pitt after being gone for a whole academic year.
44. I am sad that I haven't been/won't be around to see some of my closest friends graduate.
45. I went to Girl Scout canoe camp when I was in elementary school and it was awesome.
46. I was PAINFULLY shy as a small child.
47. After my mom died I become very extroverted. I later realized this came from my fear that she was going to be forgotten and thus I assumed a lot of her personality traits.
48. I am more comfortable talking to adults about my "issues".
49. Monet was my favorite painter until I went to the Tuner, Whistler, Monet exhibition in Paris and now I think Tuner may be number 1. Need to do some more investigation on that one.
50. I don't want to go to Sciences-Po anymore.
